The 75th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and honour at LKMHS School. The school was decorated and flags welcomed the eyes of all to the function. The students came in proper school uniforms. To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation, the tricolor flag was unfurled and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. The students participated in the cultural programmes, sports events, and sang the Patriotic Song – that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the Motherland. 

As LKMHSS has been collectively built with a long-term vision and achieved many milestones, every year we intend to move towards the next level of aspirations and growth. As an educational institution, we tutor our students, their responsibilities in meeting the growing expectations and needs of the country. To participate meaningfully, imagining our own destiny, and our own path to reach there; we nurture our students to be much more strategic in our roles and accept if there are any hurdles on the way. 

The program centered around arousing a sense of responsibility amongst our young generation towards the hard-earned freedom, and not consider Independence Day as another holiday from school. This fact touched the minds of the old and the young, men and women and everyone alike, and the program culminated with a Vote of Thanks.  At the end, sweets were distributed to the students. Indeed, it was a great day of joy for the family of LKMHS School, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
